 Exchange City & EarthWorks - Kansas City is managed by the Cody Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. All gifts made are tax deductible to the extent provided by the state and federal law. To continue to provide these world-class learning opportunities for our community, it is essential that generous individuals, foundations, and corporations continue to support Exchange City and EarthWorks. The amount paid by schools to attend Exchange City only covers half the cost incurred during facilitation. Our goal is to provide these programs to all area students and schools that want to attend. All donations made to Exchange City & EarthWorks - Kansas City stay in the community and help us to acheive this goal.
Your investment will directly support two major facets of program delivery, as you will help:
- Offset attendance costs of almost 20,000 students who participate in Exchange City and EarthWorks each year. Schools pay $20.00 for each student to attend Exchange City and $20.00 each student to attend EarthWorks. The actual cost per student is $49.00.
- Maintain the high quality, specialized facility care and operations required for these sites.
- Allow students who may not otherwise be able to attend our programs the chance to experience hands-on learning at its best.
Your donation of cash or securities can make a real difference. Consider:
- A gift of $50 helps 2 children participate in EarthWorks or Exchange City.
- A contribution of $200 makes it possible for one low-income child to attend a summer CuriosityCamp session.
- A donation of $1000 sends an entire school to EarthWorks or Exchange City.
