Program Volunteers consist of parents, family members, and caring community members who help ensure a student’s Exchange City experience is educational, fun, and memorable. As a Program Volunteer you will participate in an orientation that teaches specific educational techniques. The orientation will help you to inspire, motivate, and instill lifelong learning in all children. The focus of your experience will be to foster higher-level thinking, problem-solving skills, and collaborative learning opportunities. Without your help to co-facilitate the on-site experience, we would not be able to deliver such a high level, quality experience for students. We appreciate and encourage you to become a parent or community member Program Volunteer.
- Volunteers are selected and submitted by the teacher. Each volunteer is required to attend a simulation workshop prior to the Exchange City visit. If this is something that interests you, please contact your child’s teacher. Click here* to see the list of Volunteer Orientations.
